The commitment of the Niger Delta Development Commission to advancing development in the Niger Delta region has been reiterated to stakeholders.
During a visit by leaders of the Ijaw Youth Council worldwide to the NDDC headquarters in Port Harcourt, the Managing Director, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, assured that the commission remains dedicated to its mandate.
Representing Ogbuku, the NDDC Executive Director, Projects, Victor Antai, emphasized the importance of consolidating the perspectives of key groups to drive the NDDC’s development initiatives.
In a statement by the Director of Corporate Affairs of the NDDC, Seledi Thompson-Wakama, it was emphasized that the commission is resolute in its commitment to effecting impactful change, moving from transactions to transformation.
The focus of the commission is on finalizing and unveiling significant projects throughout the Niger Delta region.
Acknowledging the efforts of the NDDC in enhancing stability in the Niger Delta through youth empowerment programs, the President of the Ijaw Youth Council, Jonathan Lopkobiri, praised the commission.
